JOB TITLE : Shift Manager
DEPARTMENT : Table Games
STARTING RATE : D.O.E.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT : 21 years old
REPORTS TO : V.P. of Gaming Ops.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION : State of Nevada Gaming Permit and Alcohol Awareness Card. Must be in compliance with Title-31 and all Title-31 testing requirements.
JOB SUMMARY : Supervise all Team Players and keep the games moving at a good pace.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS : Previous experience required. Knowledge and skill for the games required. Must be customer service and team oriented.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Enforces and complies with the regulations of the Gaming Control Board.
Maintains department records and initiates Team Player disciplinary counseling according to written policies and procedures of the company.
Insures customer relations are maintained in accordance with the Six Commitments to customer service.
Keep accurate attendance controllers and assure that the schedules are adhered to.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Th e work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as typewriters and record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
WORK CONDITIONS : The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work environment involves exposure to second hand smoke in a casino. This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
