JOB DESCRIPTION: Coordinate project activities in accordance with the Project Management office policies and procedures. Schedule and facilitate project meetings, create meeting agendas, take and publish meeting notes. Assist with the tracking and management of project costs, resources, issues, changes, and risks.
Perform project coordination for technology projects under management by Technology Services and governance by the Project Management Office department.
1.Support administrative functions for Technology Services.
2.Coordinate project activities in accordance with the Project Management office policies and procedures.
3.Compose routine correspondence, reports, and other documents using advanced application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
4.Prepare and update project presentations.
5.Schedule and facilitate project meetings, create meeting agendas, take and publish meeting notes.
6.Solicit status and feedback from project stakeholders, apply weekly updates to status reports and other reporting mechanisms, and distribute the results to appropriate audiences.
7.Coordinate the development and maintenance of project and program plans.
8.Assist with the tracking and management of project costs, resources, issues, changes, and risks.
9.Technical writing assignments as defined.
10.Monitor project documentation for compliance with standards.
11.Maintain the overall project documentation library ensuring that all documentation is established, maintained and retained as necessary in SharePoint.
12.Assist with and coordinate the monitoring, quality assurance and reporting of project deliverables.
13.Set appointments for working project meetings and deliverable walkthroughs.
GENERAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1.Proficient knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project and Outlook
2.Ability to learn and operate in-house computer systems and a variety of vendor software applications
3.Knowledge about server operating systems, network and telephony.
4.Proficient spelling, grammar and composition skills
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
