Summary Description: The Manager, Application Development is a technology partner responsible for providing support and management oversight for activities in electronic information systems, system analysis, data processing and computer programming. The Manager provides various technology teams with Enterprise Systems perspective/guidance, business knowledge, and training on software releases, application, and deliverables. Liaison with users, Home Office, and the restaurant operations teams on resolving system problems.

Manager is responsible for conducting or supervising following activities:
Gathers business requirements for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within the organization Design, write and implement ERP systems for various functions required within the organization (e.g., Sales & Distribution, HR, Payroll, Finance, Production etc…) Configures ERP applications for various functions as per the defined blueprint Supervises the implementation of ERP systems and other software applications and resolve the post-implementation issues Upgrades application versions to newer versions of ERP software, and rollout applications to different sites Creates test plans and test ERP software modules Provides functional specifications and testing scenarios Develops technical documentation, including training material Strictly follows the standards, templates and best practices

Prioritizes the tickets/enhancements desired by the end users and assigns work accordingly with IT staff. Prepares status reports describing the plans/accomplishments of the team. Ensures projects are managed within OSM guidelines/methodology. Also ensures that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget and that they comply to quality standards Supports training initiatives of the Enterprise departments in support of our host applications. Manages efforts to draft software release notes and communication material regarding Enterprise impact of software releases. Assists in issue prioritization for upcoming software releases. Provides business and technical knowledge to Enterprise Leadership when considering new application acquisition or maintenance to existing solutions. Prepares standard and special reports for senior management as assigned.

Preferred Education:
BA/BS in Computer Science or Business Management degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience :
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment 4-6 years experience preferably in restaurant industry 3-5 years experience in QSR Operations 5-7 years demonstrated ability to delegate project tasks and supervise staff

Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne/OneWorld implementation, upgrade, and periodic maintenance. Have led one or more major projects to deploy this solution. Proficiency in Microsoft Development Technologies (Visual Source Safe, ASP, .NET) Proficiency in SharePoint Services. MOSS exposure desired Proficiency in System Testing procedures/methodologies. Exposure to automated testing tools desired Intermediate knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures surrounding Enterprise Applications (ex. ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, etc) and their related architectures Intermediate knowledge of software configuration/package builds and deployment techniques required to roll applications to three tier architecture (DB tier, App Server tier, Web Server) Thorough understanding of performance review process Basic understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures Basic understanding of in-store operations/applications and their impact to data uploaded/downloaded to support ERP and Data Warehousing applications No specific knowledge required around DW as this is managed by a separate Application Development group Intermediate professional or theoretical knowledge and functional concepts, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities Basic understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures Basic ability to delegate projects and get work done through others

Basic understanding of performance review process Ability to prepare and present ideas and recommendations to colleagues, manager and direct reports with ample notice and preparation
