The engineer will work in the Driver Assistance Group (DAS) designing and developing forward-facing cameras.
As a an entry to mid-level engineer, this is role that would entail working in a matrixed organization interfacing with mechanical engineering, software engineering, manufacturing, and test engineering.
Responsibilities include supporting all phases of the camera design and development lifecycle.
The engineer will work within a team comprised of electrical, mechanical and software specialists working to develop new camera products.
Develop system/component test plans and processes.
Develop test instrumentation or support hardware.
Work closely with TRW’s Test and Validation Department in the preparation for, and execution of, CV, DV and PV testing.
Customer and system requirements analysis.
Lead root-cause analysis for any testing non-compliances.
Create interface control documents.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering required
