Coordinates implementation of Realtime transactions and format conversions (i.e., HIPAA/X12/proprietary formats) for Payers. Oversees communication, EDI formats (270, 271, 276, 277), testing, reports and business policies. Documents all pertinent data related to account and communicates test results to clients. Ensures accuracy, completeness and expedient set up and testing of customers. Responds to inquiries and educates clients on process. Implements payer customers and coordinates with appropriate departments. Prepares clients for production and assists with upgrades/changes to communication protocol, format or software. Handles the most complicated and difficult clients and works with minimum supervision.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with three to five years EDI Health Care experience desired.
Excellent Customer Service Skills.
Working knowledge of X12 HIPAA Transactions (270/271, 276/277 preferred).
Ability to understand customer’s needs and translate into system requirements.
Attention to detail.
Ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
