Application Development Lead
working as part of the
Mortgage Bank Chief Development Office
. Our team exists to drive better, faster, simpler solutions and technology direction across the Mortgage Bank organization. We are looking for a highly motivated hands-on T-shaped technologist capable of driving high quality solutions to difficult organization-wide problems.

TDD - Must have practical experience with unit testing including deep understanding of Mock Testing Frameworks like EasyMock or Mockito.
Continuous Integration - Experience automating builds with Maven using CI Servers like Jenkins/Hudson.
Java - Expert-level implementation skills with Java and J2EE.
Spring - Expert-level implementation skills with the Core Spring Framework and including other sub-projects like Spring Security and Spring Integration.
Application Servers - Broad and deep understanding of multiple application server platforms including Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere.
General - Must be highly proficient in SQL preferably across multiple databases, feel comfortable in more than one programming language, and have a firm grasp of fundamental web/internet technologies.
Mentoring - Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and coach other team members on coding practices, design principles, and implementation patterns that lead to high-quality maintainable solutions.
Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization.
ATDD - Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development including the use of tools like Cucumber and Selenium.
Continuous Delivery - Experience with automated deployments using a tool like Rundeck.
Experience working within large technology environments involving complex software systems built on multiple development platforms.
