Compressor Products International (CPI) designs, manufactures and markets precision-engineered sealing components for reciprocating compressors used in chemical plants, refineries and natural gas processing and transportation facilities.
Summary: Highly skilled and experienced technician who is responsible for set-up and operation of equipment while controlling the safe and efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, raw materials and supplies during the production of injection molding. Ensures production of quality products while maintaining andassisting engineering with the development of new products.
Responsibilities:
Installation of new production line.
Must have operational experience in injection molding.
Make process adjustments to plastics equipment to ensure steady production for all machines while minimizing interruptions. Investigate problems.
Development of new production processes.
Be capable of operating all equipment/gages and relieving machine operators during breaks and lunches.
Make minor repairs to equipment, communicate major repairs to maintenance and assist with their completion.
Set-up equipment to make quality product after a mold change.
Eliminate downtime by completing preventive maintenance.
Make suggestions and work with maintenance to improve OEE of the plastics equipment such as cycle time improvement.
Complete quality checks and support all quality control initiatives.
Train and develop employees on new equipment, processes, etc

Working with R & D engineer set up & install production line.
Operating production line effectively.
Meeting Production deadlines.
Development of new processes
Experience
5 to 7 years experience, 7 to 10 years preferred.
