ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work within timelines to achieve given milestones.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task or workflow analysis
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding
Develop a detailed functional requirement specification document compiled from the collation of:
Existing customer and partner input
Support team input
Input from sales or marketing leadership within the organization
Input from information collected from professional services resources in the field
Input from competitive analysis performed by others in the organization
Take complete and accurate notes of conversations and concerns. Assimilate information from these various groups, documenting the commonalities and the differences.
Present to the respective Development Manager for joint completion of the Project Plan:
Document the use cases for each new module, product or feature
As appropriate for the feature or project, present the content to the VP of Development for discussion, vetting of the findings for feature or project prioritization, and making recommendations.
Participate in Customer Advisory Panels
Work in conjunction with the customer advocate to plan agenda and goals
Listen and learn what our customers want and need
Document and communicate findings
Respond and follow-up in a timely manner to ensure a closed-loop process for customers, partners, or team members.
Ensuring that the recommended solution is both commercial and competitive
Geographical market of the feature/product have been considered
Multi-currency has been evaluated
Multi-tenancy has been evaluated
Multi-language translation has been evaluated
Feature registration has been discussed with Product Management and nature of the enablement of the feature or module is fully discerned.
Demonstrate product changes or enhancements, as completed, to ensure development deliverables are as expected, prior to release to market.
Continually seek to educate self and improve skills regarding WennSoft products and new technologies available to the development.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prefer a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar education plus 5 or more years of experience in a related role or commensurate combination of education and experience.

Financial systems and integration analysis

Global currencies and exchange rates

Excellent verbal communication skills, both in person or on the phone. Ability to ask leading questions to obtain the desired input from customers. Ability to present to a customer or other audience and to facilitate conversations. Excellent written skills, both for internal and external communications, including emails, documents and reports.
Ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and propose alternatives. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Annually, the employee will attend the WennSoft Company Meeting held in Milwaukee, WI. Annually, the employee may attend the WennSoft User Conference (Synergy), which is a week-long event. Annually, the employee will attend the Microsoft Business Solutions User Conference (Convergence), which is a week-long event held in the US. Quarterly, travel to one or more customer locations is encouraged. The employee must have the ability to travel via commercial aircraft, to be qualified to rent a car, based on WennSoft standards.
Travel 20% – 30%.
