Major Duties and Functions
Responsible for the development of UX Design, GUI mockups and storyboarding, interaction flows, UX/Usability requirements and user stories,
design and development of GUI functional roadmap and two year strategy

General Responsibilities
Lead one or more requirements gathering and analysis efforts across several products working closely with the business to align feature priorities across the program
Ensure that the system and functional architecture priorities are consistently applied across the solution, presenting their strategic benefits and managing their use across the solution efficiently and effectively
Self directed work style, provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experience professional staff
Position Requirements
Senior level user interaction designer with demonstrated experience in the areas of UX and UI design, patterns and behavior in desktop, tablet and mobile environments. Core skills include:

Designs and creates UX/UI wireframes and mockups and provides configurability and extensibility in a flexible solution that can evolve with future business needs
Experience in interactive design and usability design, creation of user interface artifacts (personas, scenarios, storyboards, page/process flow, visual comps, design specifications, style guides, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Interaction Design for multiple platforms (i.e. Mac, Windows, Mobile or Tablet)
Experience evaluating modern UX interaction methodologies and determining their application for targeted use cases, user groups, and markets/technologies
Experience with storyboarding and prototyping, working with product development and end users
Experience with planning and implementing effective end user workshops, task analyses, usability testing, etc.
Experience in working with and addressing UX/Usability requirements obtained across multiple user roles, customers, and markets/technologies
Ability to discern patterns, leverage existing UX designs and communicate UX/Usability requirements and customer intent to other functional teams
Must be proficient acting in and leading integrated process teams, as well as coordinating and communicating usability requirements with development and test functions
Understanding of Agile processes and Epic/User Story requirements development
Understanding of SDLC, interlocks with upstream/downstream functions and quality measurements of work products

Technology Requirements:
Working experience with GWT, SmartGWT and Java Swing frameworks
Balsamiq Mockups, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash experience
Desired to have experience with iOS/Android UX Design
Requires 6 years experience in Interaction Design, Web Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field with a BS
