Provide technical (desktop/laptop/server) support both to the local office as well as remote support to all Polycom employees.
Staff must have technical expertise as well as hold the ability to always work with professionalism in high-pressure situations involving executives and outside customers. Qualifications
Possess 6-10 years of experience in internal customer facing technical support
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Collaborative team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
It is expected that anyone in this role have strong analytical problem solving skills and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Ability to effectively communicate and solve issues through a combination of email, phone, and remote desktop.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS’s and customer applications such as Office 2003/2007
At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop platforms
At least 2 years of experience with Active Directory
At least 2 years of experience with enterprise Anti-virus software from both a back end management and client side perspective (McAfee preferred)
At least 1 year of experience supporting mobile-devices (smart-phones)
Experience with client fleet management tools such as LANDesk, Altiris, SCCM; the position requires the ability to build application packages, manage automation processes and have excellent understand of Visual Basic scripting.
Experience with A/V (particularly video-conferencing) a strong preference
This individual may be required to travel.
