Support lab operations and perform testing, reading, interpreting, and reporting results following specified instructions from supervisor. Complete all testing in accordance with all applicable procedures and SOPs. Follow the laboratory or building process flows as determined by specific procedures. Inform supervisor immediately when acceptable results are not obtained. Generate valid data and report results on appropriate database compared to established specifications while adhering to GMPs. Maintain well-documented laboratory notebooks and records. Perform calculations to convert collectable data into a reportable form. Compare laboratory results with specifications for acceptability and determine if repetition is required. Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation problems, project problems, procedural problems or production problems. Write and review SOPs and revise procedures, as needed. Ensure safety, housekeeping and compliance issues are maintained. Ensure safety, housekeeping and compliance issues are maintained. Work in a safe and responsible manner in order to create an injury-free and incident-free workplace. Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

The Ideal BS/BA in physical or biological science plus 1 year applicable lab experience (i.e. analytical / environmental). Or AA/AS in physical or biological science plus 2 years applicable lab experience (i.e. analytical/environmental). Or high school diploma and 3 years experience in a pharmaceutical or related laboratory. Experience biology or microbiological procedures preferred. Knowledge of development approaches, analytical validations and ICH Guidelines, quality control statistics, documentation and adherence to SOP's. Demonstrate basic computer skills with laboratory systems (i.e. EMS and Trackwise). Ability to effectively collaborate with others to achieve team goals and expectations. Participate in safety discussions/committees as needed. Willing to work overtime as needed.
