SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

E v e r y t e a m m e m b e r of t h e C S p i re C rew i s ch a r g ed w i th bri n gi n g o ur s tra t e gi c v i si on of p e r s o n a l i z ed w i r el ess to l i f e. Responsible for the interactive design of consumer facing web-based experiences involving high content properties and commerce capabilities.

Work alongside the Content Specialists, Software Developers, and Systems Analysts of the Web Applications & Operations team. He or she will be responsible for weekly design updates to the company .com pages, brainstorming creative concepts with the team, developing original design concepts, executing designs based on established style guides, participating in visual design presentations, and performing the front-end development of the design for production.

This position is available as an Interactive Designer I, Interactive Designer II or Interactive Designer III, depending on experience.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

INTERACTIVE DESIGNER I:

Fo u r y e ar d e gree i n co mm u ni c a t i o n f i eld preferred (Mar k et i n g , A d v ert i s i ng, or G ra p h i c Des i gn P re f er r e d ). Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the interactive design field is required. Entry-level position, however, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge preferred.

Knowledge of graphic design software required, including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash.

Ability to obtain a solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation required.

INTERACTIVE DESIGNER II:

A m i ni m u m of 2+ years d i rect e xp eri e nce in web or interactive design re q u i r e d . Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the interactive design field is required. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required.

Strong experience in graphic design software required, including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash.

Solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation required.

Experience in mobile web applications required.

A m i ni m u m of five years d i rect e xp eri e nce in web or interactive design re q u i r e d . Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the interactive design field is required. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required.

Extensive experience in graphic design software required, including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash.

Extensive understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation required.

Experience in mobile web applications required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS :
Must be able to sit for long periods and use computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing computer screen. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members.
