Project Basic visual inspection and measurements to ensure with contract or code requirements; document daily construction activities, inspections and observations in a detailed, timely and accurate manner. Tasks Personally meet deadlines and contribute in a positive , safe, professional and high-quality culture. Fully understand and perform all inspections in accordance to specified procedures, codes and standards. Research, read and interpret construction plans, standards and specifications. Complete and ensure the integrity of inspection results and documentation daily. Identify, communicate and report items of nonconformances, Pro-actively communicate and enforce quality requirements to construction operations personnel.
Requirements High School diploma, general education, prefer an associates degree in a related filed or a minimum of five years in construction related work, with a minimum of 3 years within Q.C. Inspection duties.
Local and / or national certifications in soils, concrete, asphalt, or welding perferred. Must have current certifications in ATTI and ACI Field Level I. Also prefer a background and certification in ICC Structural Reinforced Concrete.
Must have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and codes. Knowledge of basic math and computer skills. Ability to read and write English.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to crawl, kneel, bend and reach. The posiiton also requires prolonged standing, bending and stretching. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Position will require a valid drivers licences, with the ability to drive a company vehicle throughout the construction worksite. The position will also require the individual to work nights and weekends periodically. Employment Type Full-Time City Mesa
