Our continued growth has created an opportunity for an On-Call, Float RN to work in our OB/GYN Department. Locations include the St. Paul, Woodbury, White Bear Lake and Health Center for Women (St. Paul) Clinics. The purpose of this position is to effectively provide quality service to our patients, make independent nursing diagnoses and develop plans for care, create and implement dynamic teaching plans based on upon patient need and act as a resource for other staff members. Service excellence is to be centered on patient care, patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees. Teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members.

SCHEDULE:
Days and Hours will vary, Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN licensure in Minnesota
  • Current RN licensure in Wisconsin within two months of hire
  • Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire, and maintain
  • Strongly demonstrated written and oral communication skills

  • Uses appropriate systems, automated or manual, to obtain patient information or schedule appointments.

  • Identifies patient and family needs and develops a plan for education and/or makes appropriate nursing referrals.
