Excellent written and oral communication skills will be keys to success. Gather, write, and edit internal communications for all departments within the company (memos, letters, articles, stories, scripts, etc.). Serve as proofreader/editor for materials created by other departments. Coordinate the creation, editing, proofing, printing and distribution of the Restaurant Readiness Kit to support the successful launch of Modules and other brand initiatives. Distribute communication to the appropriate internal audiences that could include restaurant employees, restaurant managers, field leaders, franchisees, support center staff and executives. Coordinate timely updates of content to the company web and portal sites. Write scripts for internal operations videos and work with external production companies.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in English, communications, public relations, or a related field. Must have at least 3 years experience in communications, public relations or related field. Must have demonstrated writing skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with absolute deadlines. Able to work independently. Able to identify internal communications needs and opportunities, and create audience specific communications. Able to convey complex ideas and instructions in simple, understandable language. Able to create and maintain processes needed to consistently deliver high-quality, error free communications, and apply continuous improvement to the processes. Strong understanding and experience using a variety of software products including Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Photoshop.
