The Offshore Equipment Operator – Coiled Tubing will perform various duties associated with tools and equipment for Pumping Services and Coiled Tubing business of Baker Hughes.
Operate pumping and transport equipment in accordance with company procedures.
Maintains assigned equipment, performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
Ability to safely operate, maintain and perform minor repairs on equipment.
Report all operational deficiencies to Supervisor and maintenance personnel.
Proficiently performs equipment inspection and maintenance as requested and completes paperwork.
Follows proper rig up procedures.
Practice safe driving procedures when travelling to and from locations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of oil field experience specific to Drilling OR Coiled Tubing rig experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
Valid Driver’s License required to operate company vehicle.
Must be able to work offshore.
Willing to work in harsh and outdoor rig work environment.
Must be able to work on call 21/7 schedule.
General knowledge of machines, tools, and banding materials, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
Strong problem solving skills
Must be able to meet Physical Requirements of Rigging Up.
Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal compliance requirements and core values.
Local Travel 50%
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
