The Project Manager will creatively manage the design, development and delivery of learning and reference materials for a variety of Franklin Covey programs pursuant to the Innovation Department’s needs and objectives, ensuring program consistency and quality. The successful Candidate will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, job estimates, records of tasks or action items, and work-flow on projects. They will help execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Responsibilities include acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will oversee quality control throughout the project’s life cycle ensuring execution on commitments and goals. They are also responsible for invoicing and reconciling all project financials.
Essential Job Functions
Oversee project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Liaise with instructional architects to develop courses. In this role, the Project Manager will lead the design process without actually being the designer, in most cases.
Work with multidisciplinary team to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
Effectively communicate project status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Maintain project milestone schedules and deliverables.
Work collaboratively to manage changes in project scope and direction in order to quickly recalibrate schedules and budgets.
Influence project team members and contractors to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Manage project budgets and vendor relationships.
Contribute to continual process improvement.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) plus a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. Experience should include project management of learning and development programs and workshops delivered both in-person and online. Preferably will have current knowledge of curriculum and course design models and processes, adult learning principles and training methods and technology enabled learning methodologies..
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills are essential including a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain credibility as well as the ability to interface effectively at all levels of an organization.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are essential.
Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a team in an environment of frequent change.
A strong ability to work proactively and adapt creatively with stakeholders and clients.
Love of learning and learns quickly.
Excellent leadership and people skills with high leadership potential.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure.

Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office are essential. Familiarity with MS Project is a plus.
