Sodexo is seeking for a an experienced and talented Catering Manager for a national corporate account in Malvern, PA. The catering manager at this location will be responsible in managing daily operations of a very busy catering department, supervision of 7 personnel employees, uphold operating standards, ensure quality operation and meeting catering requests. The candidate will have a passion for service, food, be highly creative and a passion for organization. The position will report to the Director of Operations to lead catering events and rolling out new corporate programs. The selected candidate will office in the greater Philadelphia area, and will directly support the Sodexo partnership team in PA and indirectly support the accounts in NC and AZ.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in managing catering events, customer relations, off-premise catering, contract management / multi-unit setting, experience leading a team / enforcing detail, client relations, and creating/developing menus and billing.
Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
