Channel Development Manager
This is a new commissioned sales position within the new and growing Datacenter Software Division (DSD) to build a sales channel from the ground up and manage the value added channel partners to maximize sales of Intel's DSD products. Establishing channel programs with alliances, global systems integrators, and value added resellers (VARs) to drive revenue across global enterprise accounts is paramount to DSD's success. The Channel Development Manager (CDM) will develop and execute plans to increase product exposure, sales revenue and margin, as well as identify market opportunities and growth areas within DSD sales channels. The CDM will act as the liaison between channel partners and internal DSD cross-functional teams, and works closely with Intel Sales Managers to coordinate overlap activities of the account base.
Developing DSD business across global and North American resellers which range from software distributors, VARs, and broad channel programs
Meet and exceed revenue goals for DSD Software products within targeted channel accounts
Identify opportunities for driving new sales of DSD products to prospective channel accounts
Participate in the development and launch of new products to the Sales Channel
Prepare weekly reports of sales activity, market knowledge, competitive activity, business forecast and sales plans as requested
Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows or other promotional events
Deliver product and sales training with the appropriate channel partners to develop sales opportunities
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and/or MBA would be an added advantage.
Additional qualifications include:
- 7+ years of prior sales and channel experience (quota carrying)
- Self-starter with a start-up mentality and comfortable working within a fast paced, changing environment
- Prior MNC Sales experience would be an added plus
- Experience within datacenter software industries
- Experience working with high performance storage systems, Big Data analytic SW, or cloud infrastructure SW is a plus
