Position Summary
UNC Asheville invites applications for a temporary position of Assistant Women's Soccer Coach. The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the management and administration of all phases of an intercollegiate sports program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and the University. Duties include but are not limited to on field coaching at practices and competitions, recruitment of new student-athletes, academic supervision of the athletes, travel coordinating, program management and other tasks as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree and soccer coach experience required. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills as well as high ethical and professional standards.
Preferred education/experience/skills:
Collegiate coaching experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a history of dedication to the academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Adherence to the policies set forth by direct supervisors, Head Coach and Athletic Director, as well as University of North Carolina Asheville, the Big South Conference, and NCAA.
