Position Description
Position Description:
The Manager of Vendor Accounts is a Procurement Professional who provides oversight to vendor accounts, including invoice, project and SOW management. The Manager of Vendor Accounts will also support the administration of Telecomunication Expense Management and professional services vendors from procurement to payment. Successful candidates will be able to thrive in a fast-moving environment with a complex global structure and enjoy project diversity. This individual will also be responsible for converting the professional services invoices to a purchase order (PO) program of their design. This program will automate accruals, provide proactive management of PO volumes, and provide up-to-date reporting.
Responsibilities :
Work with the Sourcing Vendor Account Manager for all Telecomunication Expense Managment and Professional Service providers in regard to invoice management for SOW and MSA
Work directly with FP&A and other related finance groups including, Tax, Sourcing, Accounts Payable and Vendor Receivables to resolve issues and manage the accounts
Review, audit, analyze, and resolve any disputes on vendor invoices and payment
Report on all account activity in views appropriate for consumption by the business, finance, and sourcing
Manage accrual reporting
Validate monthly invoices against SOWs and MSAs (number of resources/hours/milestones billed, contract terms, coding, etc), sending resulting invoice files to AP for processing
Manage vendor database, including supervision of data entry, consolidation with existing reporting views, and any enhancements required
Manage ad-hoc reporting requests
Develop effective reporting structures and schedules to provide customers with actionable reporting and guidance
Qualifications :
Good Analytical, financial, vendor management, and excellent communication skills
Practical experience working in a multi-national company strongly preferred
The candidate must be able to work effectively with outside vendors, internal legal and finance teams, multiple global lines of business, as well as Expedia affiliate companies
Work Experience and Education Guidelines :
Qualifications should include a minimum of 3 plus years experience vendor management, Product and/or Service fulfillment, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Oracle, and/or other ERPs required
Hyperion experience a plus
BS in business management, financial management, or other related field required
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are required
The ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality is also a requirement of this position
Candidate must be able to work well under pressure and within short time constraints
