Process Engineer to support the Digital/Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Event Planning and Operations (DEPO) Task Orders in all aspects of Process Engineering. This position is on the JRDC program at Schriever AFB, CO.
Process Engineer to support the DEPO organization. Position will lead the organization’s transition into the Northrop Grumman Information Systems PMPro Program Execution Framework (PEF), which includes organizational tailoring, process owner identification and mentoring, work product identification and gathering, JRDC Gate Review preparation, and JRDC Quality Assurance (QA) Risk Based Performance Evaluation (RBPE) support. Review DEPO CDRLs and DALs, as applicable, for NG, JRDC, DEPO, MDA/DTG, MDA/DTR, and MDA/ESI process compliance. Identify, lead and implement the development of new processes as needed. Identify, lead and implement the development of changes to existing processes as needed. Author the annual Organizational Management Plan (OMP), Training Plan, and other process drawings and documentation as needed. Lead and continually improve upon the organization’s metrics, Lessons Learned and Corrective and Preventive Action Resolution Board (CPRB) efforts. Provide metrics trend analysis and reporting on a monthly basis. Attend and represent the organization at regular JRDC process meetings, such as the PIDG. Provide back-briefings to the organization as needed. Develop, maintain, and provide monthly and weekly reports, such as the Process Health and Status Report. Support the organization in other capacities as assigned, such as the Training Manager, tool development for specific Management Engineering Functional Area Needs, and in conducting trade studies. Lead organizational efforts to maintain CMMI Level 3 compliance.
Bachelors degree and 6+ years experience required. (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.) Must have intermediate to expert level Excel skills, particularly with graphing and macros, intermediate to expert level Visio skills, particularly with process drawings. Must have familiarity with QA, CM, Project Management, and Security/Safety knowledge areas. CMMI Certification required and Six Sigma Green Belt. Candidate must have a DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain.
Experience with Tool Development, familiarity with other process framework methodologies, such as ITIL, and experience with Trade Studies. Prefer a Candidate with kowledge regarding the DEPO organization and MDA/DTG, MDA/DTR, and MDA/ESI missions. Knowledgeable of NGIS’ PMPro PEF.
