BASIC JOB FUNCTION:|
Administer the day to day meals disbursement to residents:
Prepare, schedule and track vendor pick-up
Record deliveries and meal counts
Secure meals in required containers and or cooling/heating units
Develop daily meal calendar for posting
Over see meal disbursements with appropriate components
Ensure meal orders with vendor for each day
Ensure for regulatory standards on vendored meals
Acquire and maintain required food handler certification
Track program inventory and ensure proper recording
Perform all other functions as assigned
Education/Degree: High School Diploma and or GED required.
Years of Experience: 1 year or more experience in food standards with a residential or shelter program.
Other skills and requirements: Employee must be able to work effectively and efficiently within a highly volatile and demanding work environment. Employee will be responsible to perform all functions and duties relative to food handling and the planning of meals. Must be flexible and available to cover various shifts as needed.
