ERM-Southeast is seeking a Branch Manager ( Environmental Consulting) with expertise in business development and technical oversight of environmental consulting projects. Based in our Tampa, FL office, the successful candidate will m anage the growth, business development, and overall operations of the office including identifying new and expanding current business opportunities in the oil & gas, chemical and mining industries in order to meet target sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the sales leader and manager throughout Florida for ERM’s consulting services, such as:
Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS).
Site Investigation and Remediation.
Air & Climate Change.
Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance.
Provide direction to clients and manage client accounts, using experience developing key client account plans to support sales and marketing activities for strategic accounts.
Lead large proposal efforts in the oil & gas, chemical and mining sectors, using experience managing projects for petrochemical clients.
Work with ERM Practice Leaders to provide value propositions that align with client business objectives using experience promoting and selling environmental consulting services such as Site Investigation and Remediation, sediment management & remediation, and remediation engineering & construction management.
Supervise and oversee environmental, health & safety (EHS) and risk consulting services projects executed by the office’s professional staff for both private and public sector clients using experience coordinating and executing EHS consulting services projects for oil & gas refineries, identifying and managing project resources, and creating project scopes and budgets.
Advise corporate, business unit, and facility level clients on the applicability of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements using experience applying various environmental regulations such as 40 CFR 112 (oil pollution) and 280 (underground storage).
Manage Site Investigation and Remediation as well as wetlands creation and enhancement projects for a broad range of clients using experience providing Site Investigation and Remediation services, and conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
Oversee and manage the design of soil and ground water treatment systems and processes, including evaluating and recommending appropriate remediation technologies, using experience applying civil and environmental engineering principles to review and analyze pollution and emission sources as well as to evaluate pollutants’ nature and concentration.
Oversee and review the technical work products of subordinate engineers and scientists using experience performing engineering calculations to determine pollution emissions, evaluating pollution control equipment and conducting statistical evaluations of environmental data using analytical software including STATGRAPHICS and SPLUS.
Recruit, hire, manage and mentor professional staff in the Gulf Coast District (5 offices).
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Environmental Engineer or related discipline.
