The Director of Security proactively manages all aspects of safeguarding the organization's facilities, assets, employees, and visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and develop security programs to protect the organization and minimize security threats
- Create, document, and maintain security procedures and ensure appropriate personnel are equipped to respond effectively to threats
- Gathers intelligence, conducts investigations and initiates follow up events that put the organization at security risk. Follow up with law enforcement to file charges as needed.
- Evaluate security equipment and service needs and make recommendations to senior management on improvements
Supervises 1-2 security/facilities staff
Basic knowledge of security and safety. Previous law enforcement experience beneficial, but not mandatory. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
