Requirements include an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Chemical Technology or similar discipline and 8 years of related experience or through 12 years of directly related experience.

Drive innovation as a Sr. Laboratory Technologist with Halliburton. From research and experimentation to development and application, your involvement is vital to the creation of new and improved chemical products and engineering processes. Apply your grasp of fluid mechanics theory and design to the rheological characterization of fluids, flow modeling, solids transport, viscoelasticity, and friction. Get hands on with geomechanics technologies in the areas of mini-frac analysis, formation sanding potential, wellbore stability assessment, pore pressure prediction, stress analysis and mechanical property determination. Provide guidance and training to colleagues. Prepare detailed project project plans and project performance reports. Resolves technical/operational questions with representatives of other organizations. Get inventive. Show the world something new - like a design, a technique, or software.
