We are seeking an ambitious Sales and Catering Manager to join our award winning sales organization. The position would sell for the Ashworth by the Sea located in Hampton, NH.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in order to produce group business
Proactively identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
Understands the overall market in which they sell - competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc.
Aggressive negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business.
Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualified candidates must meet the following Criteria:
Be comfortable working independently
Experience selling in a hotel environment
Proven experience in maintaining and building relationships with existing accounts, while aggressively developing new business
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
Excellent time management skills
Must be self motivated and results oriented
