Due to our growth, we currently have an opening for a highly motivated Data Warehouse Engineer working out of our Corporate Headquarters located in West Deptford, NJ.The Data Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for delivering reporting, analytics and data warehouse technology solutions. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Data Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for: Key Responsibilities: Assist in establishing and supporting a Data Warehouse platform strategy. Obtain requirements from business users and develop specification documentation. Develop, test, troubleshoot and support high-performance, end-to-end data integration and processing systems. Participate in logical and physical data model creation process. Design, develop and support of ETL processes. Verify conformance to standards and effective utilization of infrastructure. Create processes to ensure data quality and integrity by identifying and accounting for potential data errors. Proactively tune reports to minimize execution times and improve user experience. Write and update technical documentation and review with other team members. Provide day-to-day business support for operations staff.
3 years experience in designing, implementing and maintaining high performance, highly available, data warehouse systems 3 years of Data Modeling (Snow Flake & Star Schemas) Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and best practices 3 Years ETL experience Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex operational data into valuable analytical information Excellent command of software development life cycle activities including: analysis, design, development unit and system testing production deployment and post-production support Highly preferred Skills: Good technical skills including data warehouse design for MS SQL Server Experience with MS SQL Server and Analysis Services utilities Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services Experience with MS SQL Server Integration Services Performance tuning experience in a multi-gigabyte relational database environment Familiarity with medical and/or materials fulfillmentWe offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
