closely with the Mechatronics Engineer and learn the complete documentation release
Coordinate, prepare, review and implement engineering design and documentation changes.
Create and check documentation in support of engineering projects and release work to ensure that engineering standards and procedures are met.
Interpret, analyze and coordinate complex design changes relative to implementation dates and potential backlog implications.
Provide technical assistance to design engineering professionals in order to ensure accurate design documentation.
Monitor and coordinate the overall timing and flow of releases for projects ensuring that schedules and deadlines are being met.
Bachelors degree; OR an Associates degree and 1 year of experience; OR 4 years of related Daimler experience is required.
Must be familiar with the Electrical environment with basic knowledge of all aspects related to harness design and creation. This includes understanding the definition of, and relationships between A06's, G06's, L06's, as well as how they relate to the maximum complexity design concept.
Working knowledge of Daimler Engineering design, documentation systems (IMACS and ERS) and other DTNA functional groups are required.
A knowledge of 'Bills of material,' release, change management and configuration, and experience in engineering change management is required.
Must have exceptional organizational and analytical skills and able to work with a diverse group of people.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Must be analytical and be able to analyze project work.
Works well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with the flexibility to meet time demands.
Candidate should be skilled in the use of a personal computer, and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
