The Content Writer / Editor is responsible for writing and editing content for the internal employee website. This person will write and re-write content that is to be posted on the internal website. They will be adhere to a set of standards for writing by using and updating an existing editorial guide. They will also be performing editorial checks of content updates.

# Provide estimates on work effort to create and deliver content
# Review ad-hoc requests to the employee website
# Produce content page "instances" and author web content as needed
# Conduct detailed audits of existing and new content to identify opportunities
# Develop authoring standards for centrally published and user contributed content
# Provide editorial and technical QA reviews of new content
# Review feedback on employee website and develop reporting based on all feedback channels
# Experience writing content for the web.
# Non-technical understanding of content management systems
# Understanding of web development cycles.
# Deeply cares about web content and is passionate about its value to the online experience
# Considers the many dimensions of online content: from communications strategy to content presentation and authoring, and from informational structure to metadata management
# Is sensitive to the operational impacts of content scope and strives for efficiency and sustainability
# Excellent written and verbal skills.
Background and experience:
# Bachelor's Degree
# Minimum 3 years KM and content experience - preferred
# Experience working in a global environment.
# Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
# Experience with configuring knowledge management and searching solutions.
# Experience with gathering business requirements, defining the functional design, testing, training and implementing an enterprise solution.
# Experience with Content Management Systems preferred.
