Senior Commodity Manager
This role is a senior-level position focusing on strategic supplier management and program management.
The Senior Commodity Manager is responsible for the overall strategic management of the supplier account from initial supplier selection, through product development, into high volume manufacturing (HVM), and long-term sustaining support.
The program manager scope will include leading a multi-disciplined team of commercial and technical experts within TME as part of a larger TMG-wide program. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the program including ensuring consistency with the broader company strategy as well as setting and achieving cost, schedule, technology, and risk-mitigation goals.
Senior Commodity Manager Responsibilities
Create and drive implementation of strategic supplier initiatives, which includes identifying and leading competitive sourcing opportunities.
Lead supplier negotiations to achieve Intel's immediate and long-term affordability requirements.
Act as the Intel single point of responsibility for all commercial activities and communication, which includes supplier escalation ownership.
Drive supplier performance requirements, priorities, and Intel business strategies as it relates to the supplier.
Develop and deliver supplier quality program initiative results.
Program Manager Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation of projects
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Project evaluations and assessment of results
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this experienced position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
Candidate must possess an M.B.A. with two or more years' experience in strategic supply chain management and program management or a Bachelor's degree with four years' experience in strategic supply chain management and program management.
