Based on education and experience, this one (1) openings will be filled at any of these job classifications:

Procurement Anlst/Expediter I (Grade 6) = 4 years experience (2 yrs as Expediter II)

Procurement Anlst/Expediter II (Grade 4) = 2 years experience (2 yrs as Expediter III)

Procurement Anlst/Expediter III (Grade 2) = 0 years experience; entry-level

Position Summary:
Basic level resource in the development and administration of Procurement

involving noncritical, low to medium value procuement activities to meet the requirements of power generation, transmission, distribution and workplace services. Assist higher level Strategic Sourcing Analysts and Contract Analysts in managing activities.

Principal Accountabilities:
1.

Assist in writing the deal detail for assigned releases under blanket contracts.

2.

Asist in writing modifications to existing agreements using various models consistent with the blanket contract.

3.

Assist with Contract Routing and Archiving as required.

4.

Perform work activities as assigned and coached by Contract Analysts managing blanket contracts.

5.

Demonstrate ability to work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.

6.

Assist others in understanding each party’s interests in a negotiation, including business unit client, risk management, legal, safety, and supplier.

7.

Understand various price models, cost containment models, pricing caps and indices.

8.

Apply problem-solving skills and use creativity in problem solving.

9.

Assist in or compile special expediting reports as needed.

10.

Communicate with suppliers and internal customers concerning the delivery schedule of materials.

11.

Assist in or respond to requests for material for ongoing projects, including communicating these requirements to the Procurement organization.

12.

Provide updates to buying personnel on changes to supplier address or contact information.

13.

Assist in scheduling and coordinating the delivery of materials to remote storage sites.

14.

Assist in providing information on vendor performance that may warrant buyer intervention.

15.

Assume other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

OR

related experience.

Position will require good oral and written communication skills and an ability to work in a fast paced changing environment.

Must be self directed on a daily basis, take responsibility to complete tasks and make decisions associated with delivery and receipt of materials.

Must maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Will require effective computer skills including Microsoft office software, Lotus Notes, and other company specific software applications.
