The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the direction and oversight for a team of maintenance technicians, and/or roads and grounds crew for residential communities to ensure company standards of quality workmanship and customer service are met for change of occupancy maintenance, resident and property work order requests within Fair Housing compliance. The incumbent is also responsible for completing assigned maintenance work orders for residential customers by performing general maintenance repair of appliances, buildings, and equipment.Three to five years of multifamily property management experience with effective written and verbal communications skills. Minimum one to three years of supervisory experience with strong interpersonal skills. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and or HVAC experience is required in addition to trouble shooting general equipment and appliance repairs.
High school graduate education or equivalent and level of competence in English and mathematics. College courses or technical school training strongly preferred with relevant trade certifications and licenses. Knowledgeable in all phases of residential property facilities management. Required to use considerable judgment when assigning and directing work.
Must be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations. Must be available for night/weekend emergency call duty. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Windows XP. Experience with Yardi property management software preferred.
Possession of a valid state issued Drivers License and safe driving record are required.
