REPORTS TO: FACULTY DIRECTORCLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME, EXEMPTSCHEDULED HOURS: AS SET BY CAMPUS DIRECTOR WITHIN PARAMETERS SPECIFIED BELOW JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for instructing students and sustaining an effective learning environment through prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair and holistic learning.Responsible for student retention in addition to instructional responsibilities, and for interacting with, encouraging and motivating all students in their classes. PRIMARY AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Instructional Responsibilities Teaches assigned courses Prepares all course materials and lessons Provides each student with clear course expectations, evaluations, and timeliness as detailed in the syllabus Provides interesting and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes in a real life setting Provides fair and accurate assessments of all assignments Provides clear and timely reports on graded coursework Provides all required studentdocumentation, including, but not limited to, grades, coursework, testing, and instructional plans Records student attendance in classes Assists each student through their learning process Maintains office hours as assigned Identifies and refers at‐risk students to Academic Coordinator and Campus Director when necessary Assists the Academic Coordinator with the academic success of all students Treats each student with value and respect Assists in new student orientation Participates in student success meetings Attends graduation ceremonies Participates in professional development activities Completes, signs, and maintains annual Individual Faculty Development plan Attends regularly scheduled in‐services and professional development activities Other duties as required Assists in making phone calls and supports College‐sponsored retention efforts as requested by Campus Director, Faculty Director or I‐2 InstructorsStudent Retention Responsibilities If expected to make phone calls, will receive a company cell phone Will not be responsible for an assigned student caseloadSCHEDULE PARAMETERS: Must be regularly scheduled to instruct a minimum of seven (7) class periods May be scheduled for up to ten (10) standard 50‐minute class periods in a workday at Campus Director's discretion Will teachfive (5) or fewer different coded courses in three (3) or fewer different disciplines ORGANIZATIONAL EXPECTATIONS ESSENTIAL TO SUCCESS: Adheres to all company policies and procedures Exhibits the qualities of a role model at all times Performs duties as assigned Maintains a positive and respectful attitude Communicates respectfully and effectively with the Chairman, President, Administration, Corporate Employees, Directors, Instructors, Staff and Students Demonstrates strong organizational skills, flexible and efficient time management Demonstrates the ability to prioritize workload Completes all company records and submissions promptly, correctly and honestly Demonstrates high ethical standards and a high level of professionalism in any activities or duties related to the company Maintains regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adheres to relevant health and safety procedures Adheres to federal, state and accreditation laws, rules and regulations WORKING CONDITIONS: This position shall be subject to the following working conditions in the performance of the essential functions of the position: Inside environment conditions, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes, perfumes or minimal copying and printing smells. Minimal noise and vibration. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

Requires use of the upper extremities and back muscles. Pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds so as to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward or to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
