The Solution Architect (SA) is a presales resource supporting and accountable to the Solutions Group. The primary focus and responsibility for this position is to support end-to-end solutions revenue growth effort through active advancement of sales opportunities. As an end-to end solutions specialist, the SA is a business and technical consultant who will provide their expertise where and when required for customer engagements. She/he has the ability to understand a prospective customer's vision, application and requirements and is able to demonstrate expertise in proposing, architecting, and presenting the benefits of a Digi end-to end solution.
Key Job Responsibilities
Function as the solution specialist and provide pre-sales technical support with the prospective customers over the phone, via e-mail or in person.
Understand customer business and applications requirements; design end-to end solution to best meet those requirements; leverages resources from different teams to ensure that customer needs are met and business benefits are highlighted.
Liase and coordinate on a regular basis with development, engineering and product management resources, providing feedback and helping to drive individual company-marketplace technical requirements.
Be the technical lead on strategic proposals and create technical strategies to win business and meet customer requirements
Create and conduct solution focused webinars with the intent of developing strong, long-lasting technical relationships within strategic prospects.
Specify and provide direction to development resources to program applications as required by customer needs.
Participate in team calls and meetings to stay up to date on team and Digi Business Development, Sales, and marketing activity.
Maintain up to date knowledge on company's products, services and solution trends
Primary Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline and at least 8 years of successful, progressive technically related position experience.
Ability to establish effective customer relationships with a professional attitude and work ethic
Demonstrates an infectious and relentless passion to gain acceptance of new ideas/concepts
Strong presentation skills. Ability to dynamically translate complex technical information into easy and understandable benefits to different audience levels.
Experience in technical hardware development and software coding and familiarity of supporting tool and methodologies is strongly preferred
Exceptional interpersonal, listening and communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to travel when required.
