Develops and manages services designed to meet the religious and/or spiritual needs of patients and their families as well as hospital team members. Supervises a team of chaplains and a secretary in meeting the purpose and goals of the department. The Director of Pastoral Care serves as a member of the ethics consultation team and as an internal consultant to the ethics committee. This position supports the mission and core values of OLOLRMC by serving as a hospital ambassador and collaborates with the Director, Mission Formation in assisting senior leadership in determining priorities for spiritual grounding.
Bachelor's Degree in Catholic medical ethics, Theology & Scripture and Clinical Pastoral Education; and Ethical and religious directives of Catholic health care.
