Responsibilities
Drives concept and execution for clients through design and usability initiatives
Exploration and finishing of wireframes, mockups, and digital assets
Maintains assigned visual properties
Identifies and recommends best practices in the areas of web design, user experience, and user interface
Continually evaluates design and experience developments on competitor sites
Solicits feedback from internal and external audiences
Here's what we need from you:
At least 2 years web design and on-line usability testing experience with a portfolio of site designs/re-designs and usability improvements
Designed and integrated web applications using CodeIgniter and/or Expression Engine CMS (PHP)
Experienced in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications accessing enterprise databases (mySQL)
Solid UI/UX design capabilities and proven performance
In-depth knowledge of XHTML/XML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience in developing e-commerce applications with credit card validations through vendors such as Authorize.net
Solid expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and 3D modeling tools
Very organized with high attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Excellent communicator; passionate about achieving the ultimate on-line visitor experience
Motivated and reliable with commitment to drive tasks to completion, within strict timelines
Ability manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to learn new and proprietary platforms
