The Iphone Developer at Everyday Health, Inc in New York, New York will be responsible for leading development projects on iOS and Android while collaborating with engineers, product, sales, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
Duties of the position include: developing and maintaing mobile applications using Objective-C and iOS development; working with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or SQLite; working closely with multiple product development teams to scope and plan mobile development efforts; developing and maintaining shared mobile code that can be leveraged across multiple teams; providing recommendations around mobile development best practices; using Waterfall or Agile development methodology; acting as a problem solver through clear communication on technical and non-technical matters; and adhering to mobile standards on iOS best practices with OO principles; working with source control systems and continuous integration systems; streaming media content (audio/video); cross platform mobile development using tools like PhoneGap, Appcelerator; working with REST, SOAP and JSON; working with HTML, JavaScript and CSS; and working with Push Notification.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a directly related field, plus one year of experience as a Software Developer. The experience must include experience with with: (1) Objective-C development and iOS development; (2) database experience using SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or SQLite; (3) experience with In-App Purchase or In-App Subscription (4) experience in Waterfall or Agile development methodology; (5) experience with source control systems and continuous integration systems; (6) experience with streaming media content (audio/video); (7) experience with cross platform mobile development tools like PhoneGap, Appcelerator; (8) experience with REST, SOAP and JSON; (9) experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS; (10) experience with Push Notification. Will accept a Bachelor's Degree and five years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's Degree and one year of experience.
