The Embedded Firmware Engineering group is responsible for the hardware and firmware of APC's AP9630 Network Management Card (NMC). The NMC provides network connectivity for a broad spectrum of APC devices. Use of the NMC is expanding worldwide within the Schneider Electric corporation. Our current projects include work with USB, wireless, and touch-screen as we investigate these technologies for our product suite. We have an established, local engineering group that coordinates with Schneider Electric engineering groups worldwide to support our current products and to look for ways to expand its functionality and adoption. Other duties as assigned.

BS degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or equivalent) - "C" programming skills - Strong computer hardware skills - Some expertise/experience with networks and IPv4/IPv6 networking functionality - Eagerness to learn and take ownership of hands-on projects. Travel as needed to support the business.
