Oncology Center open Mon - Fri. Must be available to work Mon - Fri during the day.

Job Description: Evaluates drugs prescribed by physicians for appropriateness of dose, therapeutic efficacy, allergy, drug interaction, and contraindications. Maintains accurate and complete documentation of all medicine-use-related activities to ensure appropriate distribution of medications.

Education: Completion of program from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy. Current Maryland License. USP797 certification required.

Experience: Minimum three years Pharmacist experience and prior chemotherapy infusion required. Ability to work independently.

Skills: Verbal and written communication. Cerner PharmNet Millennium experience highly desired.

Physical Requirements: Visual acuity; manual dexterity and physical mobility; hear and orally communicate. Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.). Occasional prolonged walking and standing.

Working Conditions: Normal working conditions.
