Housekeeper- Cleaning of guest rooms and cottages in an assigned area according to training procedures. Cleaning bathrooms, changing and making beds, dusting furniture and fixtures in rooms. Emptying wastebaskets and replacing missing guestroom supplies. Responsible for the cleanliness of the lobby, lounge, public restrooms, restaurants, retail shops and offices as assigned. Flexibility and openess to performing various tasks, as assigned. Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions throughout the summer.
Laundry Attendant- Receives, washes, dries, irons or otherwise prepares for delivery all dirty linen, towels, rugs and bedspreads sent to Jackson Lake Lodge laundry, according to established procedures. Laundry workers fill specific job positions on a rotating basis, such as Dryer Operator, Shaker Sorter, Ironer, Feeder and Catcher, load, unload dryers, etc.
Dishwasher - Responsible for cleanliness of Dish Room , Pot Sinks, Machines, Main and Outlet Kitchens, Garbage Disposal Areas, Banquet Kitchen, Kitchen Equipment, China, Flat Wear and Glassware, and employee kitchen bathrooms.
Busser - To assist servers in all areas of dining room service to our guests in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Attend pre-shift meetings, make notes of items being served as the specials and any other information important to the dining room. Greet guests by offering a warm, heartfelt welcome to the dining room. Clean and reset counters. Also, assist server with all beverage service. Refill all beverages when appropriate. Ensure prompt accurate service with anticipation and compliance of all guests’ and server needs. Give every guest a fond farewell, thanking them for their business and inviting them to come dine with us again. Be able to operate the takeout food and beverage area. Be able to operate, maintain, and clean dessert station. Work as a melba as needed. Assist in the opening procedures of the dining room. Complete all assigned pre-shift side duties to ensure that the dining room is set and ready to go 15 minutes prior to opening. Complete all assigned post function side duties. Assist in the closing procedures of the dining room. Perform Pioneer Grill Busperson duties in accordance to ISO 9001 Training Manuals and JLL Quality Standards. Maintain a professional, well groomed appearance and pleasant demeanor. Support Food and Beverage management initiatives. Perform additional duties as requested by management.
Cashier - Responsible for the proper settling of guest checks through the Point of Sale system. Keeps accurate records of server TIPS and balances all work. Answer phones, greets guests and provide information. Perform regular menu maintenance for proper cycle and cleanliness. Perform accurate settlement of guest checks through Point of Sale system to multiple categories, i.e. staff, promo, cash, charge, etc. Assist in the opening procedures of the Cashier stands in the Pioneer Grill cashier booth. Balance deposits at end of shift and reconciles any discrepancies. Maintain proper cash bank and cash handling accountabilities at all times. Maintain cash bank with proper change at all times. Support Food and Beverage management initiatives. Perform Pioneer Grill Cashier duties in accordance to ISO 9001 Training Manuals and JLL Quality Standards. Assist in the closing down procedures of the Cashier stand in the dining room. Other duties as assigned.
Host/Hostess - Responsible for greeting guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Mural Room as well as controlling the flow of guests to maximize guest service. Must provide warm and friendly conversation along and guest name recognition. Required to take reservations, provide accurate wait times and create seating charts. Must adhere to all brand standards in assisting guests and always insure the guest’s satisfaction. This position generally works a 40 - 48 hour work week from the end of May through early October.
Public Areas Attendant - Responsible for the cleanliness of the lobby, lounge, public restrooms, restaurants, shops and offices. Empty all wastebaskets in offices, shops; trash containers in public areas, outside containers at front door and west terrace. Pick up computer paper from Accounting and Reservations and take to recycling area. Wash all glass doors on first floor lobby and second floor lounge. Clean public restrooms on first and second floors. Mop Grand Staircase - Mop and wax all hardwood floors as needed. Vacuum carpets in Mural Room, three retail shops, and all offices, the second floor guest lounge & Blue Heron. Polish brass railing surrounding the Grand Staircase. Sweep and mop back service hallway and clean employee restrooms and stairway to employee cafeteria in accordance with established quality standards and EH&S guidelines and standard operating procedures. Sweep and hose back loading dock and employees break area as well as pick up any litter. Other duties as assigned
Campground Attendant - Greets guests and interacts with them in a friendly and helpful manner. Also cleans campsites, office, and may assist housekeeping attendants on occasion. Registers guests when they arrive and assigns appropriate site. Collect fees, and processes credit cards for payment. Reports needed supplies to the Manager. Follows company policies and procedures. Assists in the overall maintenance and upkeep of camp sites including cleaning out fire pits and occasionally assist housekeeping attendants as necessary. Performs such duties as assigned by management.
Laundrette Attendant - Responsible for assisting in supervision and cleanliness of the Launderette and Showers. Compiling and turning in daily receipts. Ensuring the bank is returned to the Cabin Office each night and picked up each morning. Responsible for maintaining over-all cleanliness of Launderette and Showers, (i.e., washers, dryers, furniture, etc.). Implementing the company's Hazard Communication program by ensuring safe use of cleaning/chemical products. Follows all company procedures and policies as required by personnel and EH&S office. Assist guests in operating machinery. Greet guests, instruct them on proper use of equipment and take payment as necessary. Report maintenance needs to engineering. All employees will actively participate in training, observe company policies and procedures, and promote all company values relative to protecting the natural environment. Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
Employee Village Attendant - Responsible for creating an environment within the dormitories which will enhance and accomodate the behavior modifications and growth of the employee socially, emotionally, and culturally. Prepares operation of employee housing at the beginning of the season by ordering supplies, taking opening inventories and submitting maintenance lists for repairs needed. Assists in checking employees into dorm rooms at beginning of season. Maintains linen room for storage and exchange of linen and supplies. Performs daily custodial & grounds keeping duties throughout assigned dormitories. This includes a daily walk through of the facility. Maintains and distributes mail for employees. Performs checkout of departing employees to ensure return of all items issued and satisfactory conditions of quarters. Closes Employee Village at end of season, cleaning assigned dormitories. Prepares closing inventories and final reports. Assist in aiding residents with housing needs- lockouts, taking and delivering phone messages to residents, emergencies, etc. Conducts rounds to ensure that no unnecessary disturbances or infractions of rules are taking place. Works closely with Security in protecting life and property. Works with employee residents to mediate disputes and/or housing or maintenance problems. Responsible for coordinating programs and building community within their assigned dormitories with assistance from the Recreation Director. Other duties as assigned.
Cafe Court Attendant - Take orders, prepare and serve. Provide quality F&B service to our guests in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Assist in the opening procedures of the dining room. Complete all assigned pre-shift side duties to ensure that the dining room is set and ready to go 15 minutes prior to opening. Complete all assigned post function side duties. Assist in the closing procedures of the dining room. Maintain a knowledge of all F&B items available, along with general information on the Lodge, the Company and the National Park. Attend pre-shift meetings; make notes of items being served as the specials and of any other information important to the dining room. Greet guests by offering them a warm welcome to the dining room. Ensure prompt accurate service with anticipation and compliance of all guests’ needs are provided for. Thank all guests for their business and inviting them to dine again. All employees will actively participate in training, observe company policies and procedures, and promote all company values relative to protecting the natural environment. Responsible for the cleanliness of the dining room. Report all maintenance concerns to your department manager. Follow Servsafe standards when handling food items. Other duties as assigned.
Tent Village Attendant - Perform housekeeping function for Tent Village and provide guest service in rental office. Dispose of trash collected from Tent Cabin sites. Sweep, sterilize mattresses, cabinets and shelves, and mop guest tent cabins. Handle front desk when necessary. Sweep, mop, clean and sterilize restrooms in accordance with established quality standards.
Pool Cafe Attendant - Provides quality and reliable service to all customers. Takes orders, serves food and performs duties as cashier. Maintains pool deck service area. Handles the opening and closing of the pool cafe. Performs duties as cashier. Counts and deposits daily revenue with Jackson Lake Lodge cashier. Orders supplies; food, cleaning items and serving utensils. Performs additional duties as assigned by management. Works the Pool BBQ and assists with the Conventions Department in the set-up and breakdown of meeting rooms.
Cafeteria Assistant - Responsible for overall successful operation of the Employee Cafeteria , sometimes acting in the capacity of line cook if need be. Sets up front line, salad station, buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Finish all food preparation work for the next day’s meal periods as assigned by supervisor in a timely manner. Pick up store room requisitions as required. Take and note meal breaks every day. Must be flexible and adapt to changes. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned. Keep sanitation levels to company standards. Other duties as assigned by management. Help other departments when need arises. Attend all trainings and classes as assigned or advised by supervisor. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or Senior Management.
Cooks Assistant - Assist cooks in the preparation and service of menu items. Taste all the food on the line and make sure it is up to specification. Check and refill soups and other supplies during service to ensure sufficient supply is on hand. Ensure preparation is always stays ahead. Pick up store room requisitions as required. Take and note meal breaks every day. Must be flexible and adapt to changes. Follow guideline requirement of our E.H.S. as well as proper disposal of oils at night. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned. Keep sanitation levels to company standards. Other duties as assigned by management. Help other departments when need arise. Attend all trainings and classes as assigned or advised by supervisor. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or Senior Management.
Pantry Assistant - All employees will actively participate in training, observe company policies and procedures, and promote all company values relative to protecting the natural environment. Follow guidelines set up by E.M.S. for recycling as well as cleaner usage. Follows the principles of serve safe and participates in safe knife handling training. Production of the following pantry products: Juices, Breakfast fruits, Melons, Salads, Cold entrees, Sandwiches, Banquet items, Appetizers, Sandwiches. Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Must be flexible and adapt to changes.
