This position is contingent on a pending contract award.
This contract will be 100% overseas work, in various countries and locations yet to be determined. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of Government owned and leased facilities; maintaining and repairing these facilities and their equipment, including fire protection equipment and upgrading of fire protection capabilities.
Must be willing to travel overseas for extended periods of time
Must be able to pass a general physical
Must submit to all immunizations required for overseas travel
Must have a valid passport or be able to obtain one by time of employment
Must provide common hand-tools necessary for performance in this position
Technical and Education Requirements:
Meets all the requirements for Infrared Thermographer, as provided below. Additionally, must have a minimum of two years experience in application of non-destructive testing technology in the condition-monitoring field OR must have formal training in vibration analysis and equipment alignment OR must have a certification in two non-destructive testing technology categories (like vibration analysis, ultrasound, infrared thermography or oil analysis).
Infrared Thermographer Requirements: Must hold an Electrical Journeymen level certification and have 5 years experience as an Electrician-Maintenance Technician OR Controls Technician, as provided below:
Electrician Maintenance: Just hold a Journeyman electrician license or equivalent at the state level OR have a minimum of ten (10) years practical experience in the rehabilitation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and power distribution systems OR be a graduate of a state approved/accredited or military journeyman electrician program and have five (5) years hands-on experience in rehabilitation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and power distribution systems.
Controls Technician-Maintenance: A graduate of a state approved/accredited or military apprentice program that provided formal instruction as a journeyman in HVAC controls and have 5 years hands on experience in rehabilitation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and power distribution systems OR have a minimum of ten (10) years practical experience in the installation, rehabilitation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of instrument-control systems; OR hold a master electrical or HVAC license at the state level.
Must have a Level I Certification in Infrared Thermography from an industry recognized training institution.
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret or Top Secret Clearance
