Skagit 911: Radio Specialist (Lead) for Emergency Telecommunications. Skagit 911 is looking for a dedicated, multi-talented Radio Specialist (Lead) for Emergency Tele-Communications (TelCom) to manage and maintain the Skagit County emergency communications network. We are looking for an individual eager for a challenge and with the proper personal and technical skill-set to complement our team here at Skagit 911. This position is located at the Skagit County 911 Dispatch Center in Mt Vernon, Washington. Skagit 911 provides call taking and dispatch services to all residents of Skagit County in support of emergency fire, law enforcement and medical incidents. Skagit 911 is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the county emergency communications system. The Radio TelCom Specialist will serve as the technical expert for Skagit 911 land mobile radio systems and other related electronics equipment and have responsibility for the reliable operation and continued integrity of all Skagit 911 radio communications systems. This technician will lead the effort to maintain, upgrade and deliver reliable emergency communications to all user agencies in Skagit County.
