Position Overview:
o Provides analytical support necessary for CCR's Customers to evolve into a world class CPG pricing & trade management organization:

o Works with Trade Spend Optimization manager to ensure current principles of trade spend optimization are embedded within customer plans

o Conducts event optimization analytics against customer base

o Ensures proper collection of relevant data against account base for compilation into an "Event Library"

o Understands and applies CCR's customer segmentation approach

o Supports analysis used to determine deployment of category CCF investments across account base

o Provides input into CMA development on behalf of account base

o Develops expertise around trade management practices and analytics - serves as Customer Team SME for application of all tools

Customer Annual Planning Process:
? Supports Customer Planning & Performance Management leads in analysis and evaluation of event optimization to inform customer plans development

? Linkage with Trade Spend Optimization COE -- Ensure that CCF spend requirements are met and that event optimization guidance is reflected with AIP plans

? Supports development of guidance on CCF deployment across customer/account base for each category based on interpretation of customer segmentation framework & marketplace

Pricing & Trade Spend Stewardship - Event Optimization

  • Responsible for conducting event optimization analytics within account base (PPMs, account managers, Sales Leadership) - act as an extension of the Trade Spend Optimization COE in
delivering innovation to customer teams

  • Ensures that the proper collection of relevant data & marketplace conditions are being captured within COE Event library; develops necessary routines, tools or analytics to facilitate capture
  • Conducts analytical evaluation of event ROI within customer base - provides Sales Leadership with objective guidance on maximizing trade spend returns
  • Active participant in all COE driven management routines & work session around event optimization - accountable for challenging current state and providing innovative thinking back to the
COE

Pricing & Trade Spend Stewardship - Customer Segmentation CCF Deployment

  • Provides input to Trade Spend Optimization COE with respect to CCR Customer Segmentation Framework
  • Partners with finance to provide Sales Leadership current and objective assessments of CCF Checkbook balances for each category within account base
  • Provide guidance on opportunities for redeployment to maximize returns against each Category
Stewardship of Customer Performance Management Routine

  • Facilitates all Trade Spend Optimization metrics and tracking within Customer Team's management routines
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to customer teams on interpretation of metrics
  • Provide feedback loop to COE on effectiveness of metrics and suggest ways to refine tracking metrics & tools
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred Level: MBA or other graduate degree

Minimum Experience Required:
  • 2-4 years experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry
  • Experienced in developing Pricing & Promotion structures
  • Experience and comfort working directly with Customers
  • Collaborating with customer teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing wide variety of stakeholders
  • Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels; ability to simply complex concepts and communicate to non-technical audience
Preferred Level:
  • 5 - 8 years experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry
  • Large Regional Customer/TBT Planning
  • Customer/Sales management experience
  • Region/BU Planning experience
Skills:
Minimum Required:
  • Familiar with analytical applications - ability to draw insights and actions from data; ability to develop volumetric & financial models that can accommodate multiple inputs from diverse data
sources

  • Familiar with price/package/promotion plan development & analytics
  • Ability to conduct complex analytical exercises/projects with direction
  • Exposure to key data systems: planning tools (e.g. AIP, Scenario Builder, Price Simulator), syndicated marketplace information & data (e.g., Nielsen); forecasting systems (e.g KAEP, UFP);
internal financial & sales reporting; internal performance management & execution metrics (e.g, RED - Right Execution Daily)

Preferred Level:
  • Experience developing and managing trade management programs
  • MS PowerPoint preparation and presentation experience
  • Experience with core Coca-Cola data systems: planning tools (e.g. AIP, Scenario Builder, Price Simulator), syndicated marketplace information & data (e.g., Nielsen); forecasting systems
(e.g KAEP, UFP); internal financial & sales reporting; internal performance management & execution metrics (e.g, RED - Right Execution Daily)
