We are looking for an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure engineer to join our engineering team. As part of the application development and deployment team you will work closely with hardworking and smart engineers in a fast paced, challenging environment. In this role you will be helping to design, implement scalable systems that keep the backend services/infrastructure running smoothly.
Working with the team to design and build scalable systems that support high traffic web services
Develop infrastructure and tools for system monitoring, performance measurements, and fully automated deployments
Working closely with developers and other staff to solve operational issues with our services, tools and apps.
Partner with Tech Operations to operationalize new systems and keep lights on in production
Daily support of infrastructure and support tools.
Experience administering large scale web applications on modern platforms (Django or Pyramid).
Experience automating DevOps processes (Chef, Jenkins, Vagrant, Fabric etc).
Experience in administering various flavors of Linux (Ubuntu, Open Suse, Debian etc).
Ability to design web based applications
Solid knowledge of MS-SQL Server/MySql
Knowledge of modern caching systems, especially Redis
Proficiency in a scripting language, Python, preferred
