Straub is a complete

specialist physicians, clinics and hospital staff are all part of the
same organization. Straub cares for and comforts patients throughout
the state at both the hospital and clinic locations. Straub
offers a network of neighborhood clinics on Oahu, Lanai, and visiting
specialists on the Big Island as well as the services of nearly 200
physician specialists.
The
Medical Assistant performs a wide variety of patient care activities
rendering quality patient care to patients of all ages in accordance
with standards of practice appropriate to the training and abilities
of a medical assistant.

outpatient clinics & service sites, and over 1,300 dedicated

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
A graduate of a medical assistant program, or equivalent
combination of education, training or experience.
Current BLS/HCP card.
Preferred
:
Certified
Medical Assistant through the AAMA.
Six
months medical assistant experience.
Knowledge of CPT / ICD-9 Coding.
Experience with online medical software systems.
Previous experience with Oncology patients.
