Deliver internal and external guest service the Pinnacle Way by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look Sharp, smile & greet the guest. Be friendly, polite & use courteous language. Provide especially timely & knowledgeable service; and then some! Always find solutions to guests’ problems. Use the guest’s name when appropriate. Thank the guest and invite him or her back.).
Reviews requisitions, contacts vendors, and purchases goods based on agreed upon price, quantity and quality, ensuring timely procurement of goods at price/value to meet the needs of the client departments.
Communicates and coordinates with departments in order to understand needs, and anticipate and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and that purchasing services meet the needs of the organization.
Reviews bids for all major purchases to ensure securing the most advantageous deal in relation to price, quantity, quality, service level and delivery schedule.
Researches and communicates with existing and potential vendors in order to cultivate working relationships, negotiate cost effective deals, and develop most advantageous price and service agreements.
Reviews inventory (such as office supplies and certain food items) and places order in order to maintain par levels of inventory which best meets the department’s requirements.
Works with vendors to resolve discrepancies, return items and coordinate delivery schedules in order to ensure timely delivery of quality product that meets department needs.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Experience with word processing and spreadsheet computer applications.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and at least 1-year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified, or a combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
