The University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. The successful candidate must have clear evidence of expertise in speech-language pathology, specifically voice, motor speech and/or swallowing disorders. An emphasis on treatment and translational research is preferred. Duties include research in the area of expertise, pursuit of external funding, teaching and mentoring of students, and service to the department. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 12-month position, expected to start July 1, 2013.
Applicants must have a doctorate in speech-language pathology. Eligibility for licensure to practice speech pathology in the state of Florida and ability to mentor graduate students seeking clinical degrees in speech pathology are required.
