Essential Functions (Responsibilities): • Ownership of marketing Telecom defined Services in driving achievement of overall sales and revenue objectives as defined in business models. • Develop competitive analysis to quantify and prioritize customer requirements for market share growth. • Define solution roadmaps to ensure leadership retained with market and customer expectations • Develop and understand key customer business metrics and provide ongoing feedback to solution development teams. • Partner closely with sales leadership and practice teams to develop market growth plans, account strategy and provide sales support to move up value chain within base and define new targets within segment • Develop sales collateral, sales training, pricing strategy and commercialization strategy. • Define business growth strategy and other key business activities. • Metrics include revenue and margin growth, market share and solution vitality.
Basic Qualifications: • Masters Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. • A minimum of 7-10 years strategic marketing/technical experience within a carrier environment • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans. • Ability to develop and deliver customer presentations. • Strong program and project management foundation. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in developing and selling telecom services • Excellent communicator and clear thinker. • Active industry certifications • Requires exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and teamwork skills. • Creative, analytical and well organized. • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. • Strong leadership base; comfortable working in a matrix reporting environment. General: The Senior Solution Manager is responsible for being the expert and evangelist from solution concept to execution throughout the solution lifecycle, including: gathering industry/customer and sales requirements; defining solution vision; developing solution roadmaps; developing go-to-market plans; creating solution messaging and content; assisting sales in closing opportunities; and working closely with sales, engineering and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Senior Solution Manager role also includes ensuring that the solution supports the company's overall strategy and goals. The Senior Solution Manager role has global responsibilities.
