Clearance Requirement: This position requires that candidates submit to and receive a government clearance (US Citizenship required).

Position Details:

Database Administrator will support a global learning organization and provide maintenance and enhancements to a virtual office application.

Analyze customer requirements and design and develop database systems.

Analyze database architectures, derive requirements and asses impact of changes on overall database systems due to impacts from modernization efforts.

Provide database support for the unclassified extended Enterprise sites via email, phone and TDY when required.

Manage database support efforts (maintenance, updates and enhancements to forms/fields/reports.

Process and implement request for updates (new fields, forms, categories)

Assist with deployment of database web application updates to the unclassified Enterprise.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in computer or math related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a database applications software developer or database administrator, coupled with formal DBA training, is required. Experience with technical and administration requirements for maintaining specific DBMS environments (MySQL and one or more of the following: SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2) is required. This individual shall be experienced with database space utilization analysis, performance analysis, storage optimization, performance tuning, and database and file systems security administration. PHP knowledge/experience is also required.
